Reynold Feldman, commonly known as Ren, has long been captivated by the nuggets of condensed wisdom contained in proverbs. In fact, his first book is titled A World Treasury of Folk Wisdom. A proverb or short phrase can capture a larger concept and reduce it to an easily-remembered form. Right Use of Powerâ„¢ has a few of its own oft-quoted nuggets: Stand in your power while staying in your heart, Up-power is not all power and down-power is not no power, Under-use of power is also a misuse of power, Self-care is an ethical imperative. Â Join us as he shares selected proverbs and short quotations about power gleaned across cultures and ages. (Could we call this a proverbial experience?) What insights and understandings about the nature and impact of power do they offer us now? Talk, discussion, and an invitation to write your own proverb.
