Hi Jeff! The Conference team is meeting on Monday to finalize details and registration. We should be able to send out a registration link (and link to the conference landing page) sometime next week.

Thanks Jeff! Putting together a map is a great idea. I was just talking with Farzin who had a similar concept – to create an assessment tool of sorts to identify and address potential obstacles, etc. This makes me think of having a coaching group for ERGs as well…..
I think it would be fun to have a workshop on this on the Phase 2 day (3rd day) of the RUPI conference! I’ll put this on my Phase 2 list of ideas and follow up.

Here is the link. I went ahead and published it despite it not being done yet. Specifically we need to get testimonials, fill in the FAQ, and create pages for the “Learn More” links. If you have any testimonials or can think of any FAQ we can answer, that would be great. Any other comments you have are welcome.
As a reminder, this page is specific to organizational consulting. We will have separate landing pages to promote things like training specific for DEI practitioners.

Sorry these didn’t get updated until now. Recording links should be sent out by email and we will keep them updated here in the future as well. The links are there now.

Great point! I’d like to have feedback by September 19th if possible. The NewMexicoWomen.org folks want to interview us (we submitted a proposal to their RFP) on September 21st! Yay!

Thanks for this! It’s a good reference for folks on ERGs. I have been thinking a lot about the controversy around having dominant-identity ERGs (since that is not what they are created for). But in the spirit of RUP, I think having a space for up-power folks to process and understand (supporting by up-power folks who are further along in equity development) is an important part of seeing the whole picture. Up-power folks have a lot of work to do and affinity spaces can really be a source of support for that. I facilitated a racial affinity group for white folks and it creates psychological safety for white people to explore the harm they’ve caused, get some feedback from other white folks, etc. Anyway, just thought I’d share in case anyone is interested in having this conversation. I talked with Cedar about RUPI doing a donation based racial affinity groups. There seems to be a need in the community (especially for folks who don’t have access to ERGs). Here is another article I found on LinkedIn that talks a little about this:
