Training Director
The Right Use of Power Institute (RUPI) is a small internationally-focused 501c3 non-profit organization founded in Boulder, Colorado U.S.A. We inspire and support people in using their power ethically, with accountability, strength, and heart. The Right Use of Power™ (RUP) is a dynamic, inspiring, and relational approach to the ethical use of power to promote well-being, the common good, and right relationship. We create interactive tools and embodied, self-reflective processes and offer them through skills training, programs, resources, consulting, and coaching. Our programs are offered throughout the world, so most of our work is done online, with a hopeful future to offer in-person programs soon.
The Training Director is primarily responsible for the execution of training programs, networking and communicating with potential and current students, ensuring target enrollment numbers are reached for each training, and coordinating with other staff to create a supportive environment for students.
Training Director Job Responsibilities:
- Works in close collaboration and meets weekly with the Executive Director and/or Operations Circle
- Manages all details related to the execution of RUPI training offerings
- Maintains warm, relational, and professional communication with potential, existing, and graduated students
- Responsible for the training email inbox and responding to emails within 24 hours
- Coordinates with the Marketing Assistant to ensure that target enrollment numbers are reached
- Maintains the events calendar and ensures registration pages are thorough and accurate
- Creates and reports on feedback and analytics for every training
- Communicates with facilitators and ensures they are supported and meeting deadlines for upcoming trainings
- Creates and maintains strong relationships with facilitators
- Coordinates with the Administrative and Online Event Support Assistant to ensure that trainings are well supported.
- Works with administrative support to tracks scholarships and work-study hours
- Ensures that every training has a Session Lab outline with corresponding links, attachments/documents/handouts, feedback forms, etc.
- Ensuring that the training descriptions are up-to-date and consistent across marketing platforms
Work Hours, Compensation & Benefits:
- Contract position
- 10 -15 hours/week
- Hourly compensation
This position may increase in hours with the potential to become an employee of the organization. The evolution of the position, in part, depends on the success of our training programs.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
- 1 or more years of non-profit experience
- 3 or more years experience with organizing or leading programs
- Training in RUP or a willingness to be trained
