This is a limited time only training with Dr. Amanda Aguilera.
Right Use of Power™ is a dynamic, inspiring, and relational approach to the ethical use of power to promote well-being, the common good, and right relationship. In this 3-day Hybrid Training, we integrate our foundational Basics and Core curriculum into one cohesive learning journey, offering both a strong grounding and a deeper dive into the complexities of power.
This immersive experience is designed for those who want to build fluency in the language of power while developing the awareness and skill to navigate power dynamics with greater presence, clarity, and care. Through engaging presentations, facilitated discussions, and experiential practices, participants explore power as an internal, relational, and systemic force—learning to work with it consciously from the inside out.
In this 3-day Hybrid Training, you will:
- Learn about the five types of power in a connected, global learning environment.
- Expand your understanding of the nuances and complexities of power in relationships.
- Deepen awareness of your own personal power and how it impacts others.
- Be introduced to power differentials and how to navigate them more skillfully.
- Explore role power and how to work with challenging interactions across differences in power.
- Learn about the neurobiology of power and how to counteract unconscious patterns.
- Understand the importance of feedback, including the difference between intention and impact.
- Begin to recognize and work with the shadow aspects of power.
- Develop skills to engage conflict in more generative, power-conscious ways.
- Explore systemic power and how it shapes our experiences and relationships.
- Increase awareness of emotional dynamics, including shame, that influence the use of power.
After this training, participants often report that they can:
- Be more ethically proactive in navigating power dynamics.
- Engage their personal power with greater awareness, presence, and responsibility.
- Recognize and work more skillfully with the shadow aspects of power.
- Lean into feedback and conflict with increased confidence and clarity.
- Respond to complexity in relationships with more grounded, conscious choice.
