Program Elements
Five live training sessions will be held throughout the year. Each session will be 4.5 hours long with a half-hour break.
Live training sessions will have different facilitation teams of two RUPI faculty members so you will have the opportunity to learn from a diversity of perspectives.
Like all of our training programs, these live training sessions will be full of experiential exercises, connection and embodied learning.
These live training days are reserved primarily for a deep dive into the Basics and Core training elements. We want to ensure that you are confident in your ability to teach both of these foundational RUPI training offerings so that you can begin on the journey toward becoming RUPI Faculty or to teach it on your own.
Along with the live course content you will explore 8 modules of an asynchronous course that includes:
- Recorded video content
- Transcripts
- Handouts
- Quizzes
You will be responsible for completing particular modules before their corresponding live integration sessions.
There are 8 Live Integration Sessions that are designed to help you integrate and deepen your learning from the asynchronous content.
Bring your questions and come ready to connect and experientially explore the content.
Pods are the most important part of the program. You will meet with a small group along with Pod Facilitators to learn, practice and demonstrate your comprehension and integration of the material.
There are a total of 8 Pod Sessions throughout the year. Each is 2 hours long.
Your program cohort will have their own group on our website where you can post documents, photos and discussions. Once you make individual connections, you can also directly message the other cohort participants.
Faculty will occasionally post discussion prompts to deepen your learning and connection.
You will be given 4, 1:1 Mentoring Sessions (about 1 hour in length) throughout the program.
You will get to review a list of mentor bios and choose your top three mentors that correspond to your preferences and interests. We will then assign you a mentor according to your interest and the mentors' availability.
We will use a variety of methods to evaluate your comprehension of content, acquisition of skills, and integration and embodiment of RUP concepts. These methods include evaluation of:
- Presentations in Pods
- Quizzes in the Asynchronous Modules
- 2-page Reflection Papers
- Attendance & Completion
- Presence & Comportment
- Final Warrior Exam
Program Schedule
All sessions are 9am - 1:30pm MST
