I’m Dr. Amanda Aguilera\, and I support individuals and organizations in navigating the dynamics of power that shape our lives\, our work\, and our relationships. As the Executive Director of the Right Use of Power Institute\, I advocate for a world where we participate in power in ways that bring us closer to right relationship. I believe we often lose connection to ourselves and others when striving for perfection—when we are trying to fit into systems instead of cultivating belonging within ourselves. Whether I’m speaking on a stage\, working 1:1 as a power-conscious guide\, leading the Right Use of Power Institute\, or sharing the framework in my new book\, Shaping Power for Good: Wayfinding to Right Relationship\, my mission is to move us toward more authentic connection. \n\nDr. Amanda Aguilera’s linkedin\nDr. Amanda Aguilera’s instagram\nDr. Amanda Aguilera’s website\n\n  \n\n\n\nJeff Couillard \n\nI help organizations build leaderful teams – teams where power is used wisely\, trust is practiced daily\, and people are equipped to navigate the real tensions of modern work. My work sits at the intersection of leadership development\, team facilitation\, and organizational culture. I’ve had the privilege of supporting leaders at TC Energy\, the City of Calgary and the Calgary Fire Department\, Electronic Arts\, Bayer\, Hull Services\, and other mission-driven organizations across sectors. I design and deliver learning experiences that are practical\, participatory\, and immediately operational – whether through executive workshops\, keynote speaking\, immersive team sessions\, or long-term leadership development programs. My approach is grounded in the Right Use of Power\, deep coaching practice\, and over a decade of work in addiction and mental health\, where clarity\, compassion\, and accountability are non-negotiable. \n\nJeff Couillard’s linkedin\nJeff Couillard’s instagram\nJeff Couillard’s website\n\n  \nLeah Fink \nMy passion is supporting employees’ mental health in the workplace. With All Thrive\, I develop leadership and culture transformations that focus on advancing communication skills\, deepening team connection and engagement\, and shifting inefficient systems. Mental health isn’t just an individual issue. Workplace culture and leadership have a huge impact\, and I love supporting leaders to ensure that the impact they are having is a positive one! \n\n\n\nLeah Fink’s linkedin\nLeah Fink’s website

SUMMARY:Power-Conscious Authentic Leadership (PCAL) - Oct 7 - Dec 16
DESCRIPTION:–A 12-week online training synthesizing Authentic Leadership and Right Use of Power concepts and practices for leaders of teams\, organizations and communities. The program consists of six 2-hour classes and four 1-hour integration/coaching sessions. \nAuthentic Leadership encourages leaders to bring themselves fully and creatively to their leadership challenges and to invite others to do the same. Becoming an authentic leader involves expanding self-awareness and presence\, cultivating good communication skills and leading with both vulnerability and courage. However\, power dynamics can sometimes derail leaders’ best intentions and create awkward moments that erode trust. \nIntegrating Right Use of PowerTM concepts and practices into your leadership approach will strengthen your ability to lead with integrity and empathy by enhancing access to your personal power and acknowledging the impact that role and status power have in all of our interactions. \nWe will explore the 5 types of power in the context of Authentic Leadership—helping you understand the power you have and how to wield it skillfully with empathy and compassion. This is particularly important in diverse work environments in which power is distributed unevenly in society\, and yet we seek to create inclusive workplaces. \nThe 6 bi-monthly\, 2-hour class sessions will include community-building\, lecture\, dialogue\, small-group interaction\, self-reflection and embodiment exercises. \nIn addition\, there will also be four 1.5 hr coaching sessions with the facilitators to explore specific leadership challenges and receive personalized coaching. All coaching sessions are open to everyone\, although only 2 are required for course completion. \nLearning Outcomes: \n\n  Understand the role of authenticity in cultivating trust and engagement in the workplace\n  Understand how the “Right Use of Power” can enhance one’s ability to lead with integrity and heart\n  Learn and apply the 3 core competencies of Authentic Leadership\n  Explore the 5 types of power and how they influence leadership roles\n  Increase self-awareness\, credibility and leadership impact using a variety of methods\n  Discuss how to effectively bring these skills into the workplace\n\nPrerequisites for this program: \n\nRight Use of Power Basics Course\nRight Use of Power Core Training\n\nClass Sessions \nWednesday \nOctober 7\, 2026 12pm – 2pm MT ~ Introduction to Authentic Leadership and Right Use of Power \nOctober 21\, 2026 12pm – 2pm MT ~ Embodied Presence and Personal Power \nNovember 4\, 2026 12pm – 2pm MT ~ Skillful Communication and Role Power \nNovember 18\, 2026 12pm – 2pm MT ~ Compassionate Change and Status Power \nDecember 2\, 2026 12pm – 2pm MT ~ Creating a Culture of Authenticity\, Trust and Empowerment \nDecember 16\, 2026 12pm – 2pm MT ~ Practicing Authentic Leadership Moments\, Integration and Celebration \n\nGroup Coaching (Participants are required to attend two group coaching\nsessions\, but may attend as many as they like.) \nOctober 14\, 2026 12pm – 1:30pm MT \nNovember 11\, 2026 12pm – 1:30pm MT \nNovember 25\, 2026 12pm – 1:30pm MT \nDecember 9\, 2026 12pm – 1:30pm MT \nCancellation/Refund Policy: \n\nFull refund minus a $50 admin fee available up to 2 weeks before the first day of training OR\nA voucher for the full amount paid for a future training is available up to 1 week before the first day of training \n\nAdditional Questions?  \n We’re happy to answer them!  Email us at training@rightuseofpower.org . \nInstructor:  \nDr. Susan Skjei \n \nSusan Skjei \, PH.D.\, PCC\, is a RUPI Faculty Member and teaches in the Core and Teacher Training programs.
