DESCRIPTION:Our Core Training is a 4-day\, live\, online global learning experience that follows our Basics Training (which is a prerequisite for the Core Training). The Core Training is for people who are ready to dive deeper into all of the types of power. Over the last 25 years Susan has worked with thousands of leaders in the US\, Canada and Europe to cultivate mindfulness and authenticity\, strengthen relational\, coaching and strategic skills\, and effectively lead the changes they want to see in their organizations and in the world.  She has a unique ability to create energetic and high trust learning environments that accelerate the achievement of practical organizational results while building strong\, collaborative relationships.  Formerly a Vice-President and Chief Learning Officer in the technology sector and an international consultant\, she was also the founder and Director of the Authentic Leadership Center at Naropa University.  She enjoys hiking\, biking and watercolor painting. \n  \nKi Smith \n \nKi Smith\, she/they (Boulder\, CO) is an IFS Informed Contemplative Psychotherapist\, facilitator\, mediator\, and coach in the realm of compassionate communication\, power-consciousness\, and conflict transformation. In her private practice\, Warrior Wisdom\, Ki works with individuals and people in intimate relationships of all kinds who want to heal relationally by learning how to turn towards inner and outer conflict whenever possible with slowness\, curiosity\, kindness\, and the intention to hold that multiple truths are possible and probable. She also offers a 12-week course which builds these skills and is rooted in the integration of The Right Use of PowerTM\, Nonviolent Communication\, and Internal Family Systems\, entitled “Language for the Open-Hearted Warrior.” \n \nKi is passionate about co-creating beloved community with others\, understanding the integral role this plays in transformational healing of intrapersonal\, interpersonal and systemic suffering. She believes that the heart of healing ourselves and our world is coming home to the truth: we each and all inherently belong–and that we truly need one another to re-member this truth.

Driven by her core values of curiosity\, courage\, and connection\, Amanda is adept at putting things together in new ways\, creating visuals that help make learning more accessible\, and communicating complex ideas in simple ways. \nAmanda has a commitment to be courageous in the service of reducing and repairing harm in relationship and promoting the cultural shift toward power-and-equity consciousness\, conflict positivity and conflict competency. At the core of her academic and personal passion is the advancement in understanding social power dynamics and deepening the personal and collective uses of power in the world with wisdom and compassion. \nHer doctoral dissertation focused on the dynamics of shame and power in the justice system and she continues to develop theoretical models in the intrapersonal and interpersonal experiences of power dynamics\, including the integration of neurobiology\, contemplative practices and restorative practices as they relate to power differentials. \n  \nVeronica Borgonovi \n \nVeronica (she/her) is a seasoned organizational and project leader\, manager\, mentor\, and coach\, with experience supporting over 40 client projects in management and social sector consulting across multiple countries. She continues to guide a multi-year effort to transform organizational culture around equity and inclusion across multiple geographies\, and is experienced in strategy development\, evaluation and learning\, facilitation\, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. \nShe is a certified coach through Leadership That Works\, a graduate of Right Use of Power Institute’s teacher training\, and a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory. She is also an experienced meditator and currently studying the application of Buddhist contemplative psychology toward psychosocial change efforts.

Driven by her core values of curiosity\, courage\, and connection\, Amanda is adept at putting things together in new ways\, creating visuals that help make learning more accessible\, and communicating complex ideas in simple ways. \nAmanda has a commitment to be courageous in the service of reducing and repairing harm in relationship and promoting the cultural shift toward power-and-equity consciousness\, conflict positivity and conflict competency. At the core of her academic and personal passion is the advancement in understanding social power dynamics and deepening the personal and collective uses of power in the world with wisdom and compassion. \nHer doctoral dissertation focused on the dynamics of shame and power in the justice system and she continues to develop theoretical models in the intrapersonal and interpersonal experiences of power dynamics\, including the integration of neurobiology\, contemplative practices and restorative practices as they relate to power differentials. \n  \n Leah Fink \n \nLeah was born and raised in Calgary\, Alberta\, Canada\, where she still lives with her husband Brandon and two cats. She is the owner and founder of All Thrive\, contributing author to the Art of Connection\, and the host of the weekly live show Your Mind-Your Reality-Your Results. She holds an applied degree in Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership (ETOL)\, and a diploma in Social Work\, both from Mount Royal University\, and is currently a registered social worker. Her work and volunteer experience have focused on helping people understand more about themselves and grow their confidence. This also includes working with youth in a wilderness-based addiction and mental health program. Later\, Leah went on to supervise that program\, where she focused on program development and growing her facilitation skills as she trained multiple staff teams. She is now the owner of All Thrive\, where she helps people and businesses develop their skillfulness in personal and professional relationships. She is certified in True Colors personality typology\, and the Right Use of Power (effectively using power dynamics).

Over the last 25 years\, Susan has worked with thousands of leaders in the US\, Canada and Europe to cultivate mindfulness and authenticity\, strengthen relational\, coaching and strategic skills\, and effectively lead the changes they want to see in their organizations and in the world. She has a unique ability to create energetic and high-trust learning environments that accelerate the achievement of practical organizational results while building strong\, collaborative relationships. Formerly a Vice-President and Chief Learning Officer in the technology sector and an international consultant\, she was also the founder and Director of the Authentic Leadership Center at Naropa University. Susan has a Ph.D. from Fielding Graduate University in Human and Organization Systems\, a Master of Science degree from American University/NTL in Human Resource Development\, and a certificate in Change Management from Cornell University. She enjoys hiking\, biking and watercolor painting. \n  \nKi Smith \n \nKi (she/her) is a Contemplative Psychotherapist\, consultant\, and facilitator of Nonviolent Communication presented through an ever-evolving Power-Conscious lens. Ki is passionate about co-creating spaces where collective wisdom is valued and centered\, and where growth edges can be met with curiosity\, courage\, and collective care. Through her business\, Warrior Wisdom\, LLC\, she offers counseling\, consulting\, Power-Conscious NVC coaching\, and a 12-week course rooted in the integration of The Right Use of Power (TM) and Nonviolent Communication\, entitled “Language for the Open-Hearted Warrior.” Ki is grateful to have ongoing mentorship and support from others in this work as she walks the path of the compassionate and wise “Open-Hearted Warrior\,” humbly knowing the journey is never complete.
