SUMMARY:Community of Practice: A Gathering – Wed\, Oct. 29
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a monthly gathering where Right Use of Power students and facilitators come together to reflect\, connect\, and deepen their wisdom around power dynamics in everyday life. These Community of Practice events are a brave and compassionate space to share real-life stories\, explore challenges\, and celebrate growth in using power ethically and heartfully. Whether you’re still unpacking the types of power\, navigating up-power roles\, or working with feedback and repair\, you’re welcome here. Come as you are\, and let’s learn together how to use our power with presence. \nDau has facilitated Right Use of Power™ Basics Trainings\, Core Trainings\, and the Power and Equity Challenge programs\, helping individuals and communities engage with power through strength\, heart\, and connection. \nSuggested donation:$20-$50 \nRegister and Donate here\nDau Windwater\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDau Windwater (they/them) is a dedicated guide and facilitator passionate about the ethical use of personal power. Dau holds an interdisciplinary graduate degree in Environmental Justice and Buddhist Divinity. Their work focuses on helping people cultivate their personal power\, deepen their relationship with nature\, and stay present and curious with the unknown.\nWith a background in tai chi\, aikido\, and dance\, Dau weaves movement and embodiment practices into their teaching. They approach facilitation through a lens of compassion\, loving-kindness\, and a commitment to cultivate conflict-positive spaces that nurture genuine connection and community. As a nonbinary queer person living with invisible disabilities\, Dau brings lived experience\, resilience\, and depth to their work. They also practice Indigenous technologies of elemental medicine\, integrating earth-based wisdom into modern healing and leadership practices.\nDau is honored to guide others in exploring how power can be a force for good — relational\, rooted\, and deeply human.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
